From Mumbai via Pune
Once you leave Mumbai, join the Mumbai Pune Expressway – Lonavla – Pune – continue on the Pune Bypass – drive on the Pune Bangalore Expressway NH4 – cross Satara – Umbraj – Taswade Toll Booths – Cross Karad – 4 Kms after Karad be alert & look for the KOLHAPUR 66 Kms board – slow the car and keep to your left – look for the KOLHAPUR 65 Kms board – on Left side you will see a small kms sign board of KALE / PACHWAD – take the diversion on left onto the service road, Do Not drive ahead on the bridge – turn right under the bridge – now drive straight and you will pass villages of Ond – Undale – lake on left – Ghogaon – Windmills on right – Shedgewadi Junction take left – Overhead water bridge 1 – Overhead Water Bridge 2 – Kokrud Phata take right – pass Kokrud – Turukwadi Ghat – on left is the first board of The Jungle Resort – Turn right on the T junction of Malkapur on NH204 towards Ratnagiri – Amba Village is 16 Kms from this turn – Pass through Amba village – slow down and lookout for Ambeshwar School on left – take a left turn on seeing the Resort Logo Board – drive straight and then you will reach The Jungle Resort Amba. Do not go ahead after school, the ghat starts.

You can take this same route back Home, if you are not visiting the Mahalaxmi in Kolhapur.
